John Elliott was the husband of Elizabeth Matthewman Elliott (please see post from November 4, 2012 regarding Elizabeth). Elizabeth had a "portrait" artfully done from John's photo. The first picture is the original photo and the second is the portrait. John passed away in England before Elizabeth and her children came to America. The photo below is John's headstone in England.
