John Andrew Stephens and William Wallace Stephens
These two cute little boys are half brothers. John Andrew Stephens' mother (Sarah Ellen Gheen Stephens) died when he was nine days old. His father (Alexander Nephi Stephens) remarried (Amina Ann Raymond) and William Wallace Stephens was born 2 years after his older brother John. In pencil was written on the back of this photo:
"John and Will in trousers and suspenders that their mother first carded the wool, then wove the cloth which was called linsey and then made the clothes of it. Will says the first time he wore them to Primary, the rough cloth rubbed the skin off the inside of his legs and knees."

Hi We are related to William Hoskins through Sara Jane Moore. DO you by any record to where in Ohio he was born or his parents? My wife Susan is the daughter of Norman Burgess Moore. Also on the other side of things my grandfather was Elbert Marion Stephens. His fathers family came out of central Missouri. Any relationship possibilities with your husbands family?
