The first child of Neils Anderson and Mary Wilson Anderson did not have a long life. She was named for her grandmother Emma Jane Coleman Wilson and was a healthy baby until just before she passed away. She is buried in the Riverside-Thomas cemetery and the sentiment on her headstone reads: "Our lovely flower has faded"
